This is our annual golf tournament for the 1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo Memorial Fund and with everyone’s support we are sure it will be a huge success!
1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo gave his life defending our country in Afghanistan. Jeff’s family and friends, with the help of the Luzerne Foundation, have started a memorial fund to donate to various charities in Jeff’s honor.
We’d like to thank everyone participating in our tournament, and also a special thank you to the businesses and individuals for their generous donations.
Tournament Information
Join us for the 1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 12, 2023. We’ll have a great day of golf at the Sand Springs Country Club.
The event will include a 4-person captain and crew, dinner, and awards ceremony following the golf.
- Day of Tournament – Report to the clubhouse for registration.
- Tees & Practice – All men will tee off from the white tees and all women will tee off from the red tees
- Format & Scoring – The 1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo Golf Tournament is a four-person captain and crew format.
Featured events for the day will include player gifts, prizes and awards, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Circle of Gold, and much more!

Time: 7:00 a.m. check-in with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
Facility: Sand Springs Country Club
Individual Golfer: $90
Foursomes: $360
Entry Fee includes golf and cart, dinner, and awards ceremony.

Policies
- Inclement Weather Policy – The tournament will not be canceled before the day of the event. Please arrive at the course and if we cannot play, we will schedule a rain date then.
- Attire – Golf shirts are required. Only soft spikes are allowed.
- Cell Phones – Please limit the use of your cell phones on the course and turn the ringer off.
